UPDATE ON GOOD KARMA DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK
You can access the announcements and changes to our normal activities here. Our first priority is safety; for our fosters, volunteers, adopters and, of course, our pets.
Okay, not going to even try to be shy here. WE NEED DONATIONS NOW MORE THAN EVER. If you can donate, please do -- it's super easy on our Facebook Fundraiser below!
Or you can shop one of our Amazon wish lists below and the items will be delivered directly to us!
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
AND YOUR PETS
There is no evidence of any human anywhere getting COVID-19 from their pets.
Interacting with our pets actually lowers stress and boosts mental health.
This is a great time to work on behavioral training or increasing playtime with pets which increases socialization skills for pets and humans alike.
"There is currently absolutely no evidence a dog or cat has been infected with covid-19 from a human being. The zoo tiger incident is a very isolated case and is being investigated. Even with all the cases in New York, there has not been a single report of a cat or dog with covid-19. There is no reason to dump your pet at the pound."
