WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
AND YOUR PETS
-
There is no evidence of any human anywhere getting COVID-19 from their pets.
-
Interacting with our pets actually lowers stress and boosts mental health.
-
This is a great time to work on behavioral training or increasing playtime with pets which increases socialization skills for pets and humans alike.
"There is currently absolutely no evidence a dog or cat has been infected with covid-19 from a human being. The zoo tiger incident is a very isolated case and is being investigated. Even with all the cases in New York, there has not been a single report of a cat or dog with covid-19. There is no reason to dump your pet at the pound."
